La La Land ha sido la triunfadora de la 69ª edición de los BAFTA. Mejor película, mejor director, mejor actriz, mejor fotografía y mejor banda sonora original, han sido los cinco galardones que ha conseguido la cinta de Damien Chazelle.
Por su parte, Manchester by the Sea se ha hecho con el premio al mejor guión original y al mejor actor, y Lion con el de mejor guión adaptado y el de mejor actor secundario. Viola Davis ha sido la elegida como actriz secundaria y I, Daniel Blake, como mejor película británica.
