Los Critics’ Choice Awards son los premios concedidos por la Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA), la asociación de críticos de cine de Estados Unidos y Canadá con un mayor número de miembros (unos 300 entre radio, cine y televisión). Este año celebran su 23ª edición, y el próximo 11 de enero se darán a conocer los ganadores en una gala que tendrá lugar en Santa Mónica, California.

The Shape of Water ha sido la película que ha conseguido un mayor número de nominaciones (14). A la película de Guillermo del Toro la siguen Call Me by Your Name (8), Dunkirk (8), Lady Bird (8), The Post (8), y Blade Runner 2049 (7). Salvo esta última, todas están presentes en la categoría de mejor película.
